A minimum is needed by the deadline for a trip to go.

May 1-3   Pella Tulip Festival and Amana Colonies in Iowa - 2 nights
We will spend time in the Amana Colonies - go the museum, old-time stores, arts guild.  Then on to the Pella festival with parade, town and tulip tour. Included is a meal at the Old Ox Yoke Inn, two nights lodging, museum entry, Pella tour, grand stand seating.  Register early please. Price is higher for single occupancy. 
$635 per person, double occupancy
$725 for one person

June 1 Bayfield in Bloom
We'll explore multiple gardens in and around Bayfield.  Welcome spring and the colors coming up from the ground. Box lunch included.

June 11 - Lumberjack show, Hayward
Watch skilled lumberjack folks compete in an entertain program.  We'll also have a bit of time in Hayward to stroll through town.  Lunch is not included.  The entry to the lumberjack show is included.
Depart from Perkins West at 8:30 a.m.
Return 5:30 p.m.

June 16 - Land of the Loon Arts Fest, Virginia
This popular Iron Range arts festival is fun to stroll in the park, eat fair food,  talk with artists, and shop for amazing unique items.
Depart from Perkins West at 9:15 a.m.
Return at 4:15 p.m.  
Register by May 25.

Aug 22 - Minnesota State Fair
Minnesota's Great Get-Together.  Booths, rides, food. exhibits, animals, people.  Let's go.  You won't need to mess with parking. Entry included.
Depart from Perkins West at 8 a.m.
Return 7 p.m.
Please register by Aug 10.

Sept 20-22 - Weekend - Wisconsin Dells and House on the Rock, Duck Boat, Tomah Amish, WI - 2 nights
We will stay in the Dells for two nights. We will eat at the Paul Bunyan Buffet, go to Spring Green for the Deluxe Tour of House on the ROck, go on a scenic duck boat ride.  We will also stop in Tomah in the Amish area.  All of these are included! 
$695 per person double occupancy.
$785 for single room.
Depart Perkins West at 7:30 a.m. Sept 20
Return Sunday at 7 p.m.

Oct 6 - Bayfield Apple Fest
A favorite fall event.  Eat all kinds of apple creations. See another park of Lake Superior.  Fall tree colors.  We also will stop at a farm or two.

Return 4:15 p.m.
Please register by Sept 15.   
This trip will likely sell out fast.  We have done this trip before but by request it is offered again.

Oct 19 - Sunset with Sandhill Cranes  
Crex Meadows in Grantsburg
During the fall ( and spring) some birds are on the move crossing thousands of miles.  Sandhill Cranes come down from Canada on their way to Florida for the winter. About 8,000+ cranes are usually visable flying in from all directions where they ate in the farm fields by day and rest in safety at night.  It's a noisy and special experience. We will stop at a restaurant in Hinckly on the way (meal not included). 
Leave Perkins at 3 p.m.
Return about 9:30 p.m.

Recent trips were to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater, Minneapolis Institute of Art/Como Park Conservatory, and Bayfield's Rittenhoue Wassail Concert lunch. We went to the Minnesota Zoo in October, Stone Lake Crannberry Fest Oct 6, to Ely to the Dorothy Molter Museum and North American Bear Center on Sept 15 and to the MN Landscape Arboretum on Sept 21.
